November, almost over!?!? It has been a busy month!
Brett successfully survived his first quarter of medical school, woohoo!!!
I finished, finally, my last residency in Chicago for my masters, now it's on to Internship!
My parents and brother came to visit!! It's been a great month and not even Thanksgiving.
Wanted to post some pics of Chicago and the time with my family! Enjoy

Carthage Jail. We were lucky enough to be the only ones
at the jail. It's a slow time of year in the Nauvoo area, I was glad
for it though. Probably one of my favorite experiences with church
history was the tour we received at Carthage.

The actual door to the bedroom where the Prophet Joseph and
Hyrum were martyred. The bullet holes can still be seen.
Also the window in the background where Joseph Smith fell through
after being killed.

Through the window...

Mom and Dad at Carthage.

Joseph and Hyrum, two of the greatest men to live.

In front of Carthage Jail. It was really cold on our trip to
Nauvoo and Carthage, but we enjoyed it.

We took a carriage ride around Nauvoo. It was really cold!!
Bowdie was cold too, :) and he would probably be very upset if
he knew I posted this picture.

Luckily the nice missionaries who took us on the ride supplied
us with blankets :)

Last look at the City Beautiful

Two entirely different views and purposes, but Beautiful in their own ways!

Chicago Illinois

View of the city from Navy Pier

From the Sky Deck of Willis/Sears Tower!
Dad was very proud of himself for stepping
out onto it!!

The big city!

Our hotel where my residency was held.
